I write Monday – Friday here and occassionally at Mashable.com and Chris Brogan’s Dad-O-Matic. I am an avid Twitter user. I am currently focused on convincing traditional marketers of the value of Web 2.0 before the arrival of Web 3.0.

I love to help out and volunteer time and knowledge whenever asked. I am Director of Technology for the Austin Chapter of the AMA and am currently working on a Twitter guide for all users.

I have walked a very crooked path to arrive at where I am today. I have served in the Military, been an activist for Greenpeace. I have been a programmer, management consultant and now lead a Marketing Communication company. In my non-working time I have been a volunteer fire-fighter, search & rescue technician, volunteer librarian. I am the Father of two daughters. The intent of this blog is as an outlet for my thoughts on marketing communications, business issues, new technology, social media and other things as I learn them. I have no doubt I will occassionally stray from this path, after all its been crooked getting here, no doubt it will take a few more twists and turns before it gets to the end, for these I do not apologize, though I do ask for your indulgence.
